FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How often can I have sessions?

Ideally weekly on a regular day and time, although with some work patterns this may not be possible I will do my best to accommodate this.

Where do sessions take place?

If we're meeting face to face it will be in my counselling room in Liphook.

If we are meeting online it will be via a secure platform.

How much does a session cost?

Sessions are £55 and last 50 minutes, I can discuss reduced rates for unemployed and students. Sessions are paid for on the day.

Who decides what we talk about?

What we talk about in sessions is completely up to you, before we start we'll chat about what brings you to counselling and what you would like to achieve by coming to sessions.  We'll agree what areas you'd like to focus on and review where we are as we go.

How many sessions can I have?

That's also up to you.  We don't have to set a number at the start but if you have a number in mind we can work with that too. It will be important to review your focus as we go along.

What if I miss a session?

If a session is already booked and cancelled with less then 24hrs notice or you do not come a full session amount is payable. Obviously life happens as does the unexpected, so you may have to miss session for an emergency, we can talk about this situation if it arises.  I would not charge for a session missed due to a holiday with notice given, I will also give you plenty of notice if I have a holiday planned.
